Hello everyone!

I'd like to welcome everyone to the website. I plan on trying to keep it updated as much as possible.

TurtleShell is a new End Game Linkshell recruiting on Shiva server for Final Fantasy XI.

Our plan is to do events 3~4 nights a week at a set time. There are very few EGLS on Shiva and shout groups are far and few between. I'm hoping to give people on Shiva set events so everyone can have fun and get gear!

I'm EST based and most likely our events will run between 8pm~11pm EST. That is subject to change though depending on the group's needs. You can always do unofficial runs at any time if members are on and want to do something(Can help plan official and unofficial events via the forum).

Depending on how recruiting goes we will probably start with smaller events, and work our way up to alliance. We may also do some older events like Einherjar, Limbus, or Legion just to mix it up.

As of now, runs aren't mandatory. The LS is more of an 'equip to do events' only linkshell. So if I don't see you on the linkshell then I assume you don't want to participate that day. You don't have to worry/hide/make excuses when events go on if you're busy or just not feeling up to it. However, I hope people participate as much as possible so we can grow as a linkshell.

This Linkshell is just starting up. As much as I want to jump into beating Tojil on our first run I just don't think it's possible. So we may start by doing wide variety of events just to give us something to do and build teamwork. I hope people will want to participate and work towards building a functional linkshell that will be able to clear all the content in the future.

For this LS there isn't a 'strict' minimum gear set requirement to be approved. If you have understanding of basic game mechanics and are able to follow orders then we can gear you fairly easily. Even though you will be approved without specific gear requirements, certain events may require us to be selective of members participating. The minimum level of gear I would assume people would have would be a full set of skirmish/sparks gear and potentially some WKR gear. Skills however should be close to cap/capped.

We plan on doing farming runs one night a week as an event. Either Skirmish or Sparks farming. So I hope to get everyone geared/skilled up to fairly quickly.

I want to make this Linkshell open to anyone. A lot of people face pressure when it comes to applying to a EGLS so I want to give everyone a chance. Once we get everyone working as a group we can figure out what is or isn't working and make adjustments based on that.

Everyone makes mistakes or may not understand something completely, so I plan on being open minded and work problems out with people. But I must always do what is good for the LS. Again, as long as you understand basic game mechanics and can follow orders you will be fine.
